Project Background
Contingency Emergency Response Component (CERC) under the World Bank assisted, UDRP-AF was activated to assist the state of Uttarakhand in tackling COVID-19 situation more effectively for which PIU-Health was constituted. 05 packages were developed to strengthen the Health Department, Government of Uttarakhand in terms of manpower, services, machinery and equipment to fight this global pandemic more efficiently

1. Supply of 1000 Fowler Beds (both side incliner) for COVID Hospitals.

2. Supply of Ambulances (100 Basic Life Support (BLS) & 40 Advance Life Support (ALS) for Health Department, Uttarakhand.

3. Supply & Installation of CT scan Machines in 4 Tertiary Care Hospitals of Uttarakhand.

4. Hiring of HR Firm for providing Lab technicians.

5. Augmentation and strengthening of 31 Labs.
